Founded in March 2024 by Hannah Kol, Smoky Mountain Coffee & Creamery is the realization of a lifelong dream. Hannah’s love for coffee shops and her family’s legacy of ice cream shops inspired her to merge the two, creating a warm, welcoming space where the rich aromas of freshly brewed coffee meet the sweet indulgence of hand-dipped ice cream.
At Smoky Mountain Coffee & Creamery, we’re proud to provide high quality coffee beans from Kaldi Gourmet Roasters, a family-owned roastery run by Hannah’s lifelong friends, the Torello family. Our coffee is roasted fresh each week, ensuring that every cup is as flavorful and satisfying as possible.
Hannah’s journey is as unique as our shop. A Nashville-based singer-songwriter, she was first brought to the Smoky Mountains at 16 to perform in her first professional show at Dollywood. She called Sevierville home for six unforgettable years, and while music led her to new adventures, her heart has always been drawn back to the Smokies. Today, she divides her time between Nashville and Gatlinburg, blending her passions for music and coffee into something truly special.
Hannah is also the founder of Music Heals Minds 501c3, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health through the power of music. The organization donates musical instruments and funds licensed music therapists to mental health facilities, providing therapeutic opportunities for healing and connection. This mission is deeply personal to Hannah, and every step of her journey is inspired by the belief that creativity and community can change lives.
